The position of Cafe Wait Staff requires the employee to be highly self motivated. A knowledge and
passion for quality. Excellent customer service is essential. Knowledge on Safe Food Handling procedures is a pre-requisite.
Specific Duties:
• Represent the jones the grocer brand to the highest level of professionalism.
• Perform scheduled cleaning and health & safety procedures as required.
• Maintain mis en place, napkins, sugars etc. and ensure replacements as required.
• Deliver high levels of customer service, presentation and menu/product knowledge
• Use of computer assisted devices to place orders
• Perform some basic food preparation as required.
• Make & serve coffee and beverages
• At times, you may be required to assist in the retail component of the store.
• Perform cash handling and customer transactions.
Excellent command of English Language.
• Ability to communicate the menu and its interaction with grocery retail to customers
• Engage, interact and chat with customers
• Providing training to colleagues if requested
• Problem solve and react positively to challenges as well as criticism
• Work under pressure and manage your zone effectively
• To be a team leader and represent the brand positively at all times
