Coordinate and supervise on assigned shift, the operation of XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene);
Ensure the production, processing and distribution of diversified XLPE products meets specified qualities and quantities within the designated area.
Coordinate periodic checks, adjustments and maintains follow-up on all maintenance activities in his respective operating area.
Completes shift supervisor log book and other work reports;
Supervise plant start-ups, shutdown and emergencies as per established operating procedures.
Regular contacts with Laboratory and Material Handling at supervisory level for general coordination of operations and routine maintenance work.
Regular contacts with Area Maintenance Engineers/Supervisors and Safety & Fire personnel on shift, to coordinate and follow up maintenance activities.
Technical or Diploma Course or higher
At least 6 years work experience in petrochemical or relevant industries including 3 years in a Supervisory position in an XLPE unit.
Good knowledge of Different pumps, Extruders, Pelletizers, Filtration system, Compressors and Blowers, Pellet transport systems and Feeding systems used in XLPE manufacturing.
Ability to speak, write and communicate effectively in English.
Very good analytical & leadership skills.
Excellent team player.
Proficient in the use of computer, i.e. MS Office, CMMS, etc.
