¿ Responsible for project management of 2 ¿ 3 projects in parallel of a total sales value of up to US$ 10 million
¿ Reporting to the Managing Director for Middle East & India for all aspects of the subject projects
¿ Profit and Loss responsibility for the projects with respect to the financial performance relative to the budget.
¿ Responsible for creating sufficient financial, operational, planning and administrative metrics to control the projects performance relative to the budget.
¿ Be responsible for both formal and informal communication to customers on all aspects of the projects.
¿ Interface responsibility for technical, planning and commercial information between Company and customer
¿ Ensure the Company's Top Management team is updated regularly on the following issues for each project : - operational performance - financial performance - project risks - potential upsides and / or down sides that could project schedule and /or financial performance - customer feed backs
¿ Liaise with every involved department, i.e. technical, procurement, logistics, etc and ensure that they are aware of their respective responsibilities and duties.
¿ Come up with corrective measures to recover any shortfalls in the projects either to the schedule and / or cost.
¿ Recognized University Degree within a Technical Discipline and / or Finance / Economics
¿ Age 28 ¿ 40 years old
¿ 5 ¿ 10 years relevant experience in Project Management / Planning / Cost Control of Engineering Projects
¿ Missing Project Management experience could be compensated by relevant P & L responsibility from running a small business or a part of a larger business.
¿ Solid commercial experience with the ability to negotiate contractual terms.
¿ Very good English both spoken and written. Needs to have a good ability to formulate business letters.
¿ Excellent computer literacy in MS packages, i.e. Word and Excel as well as planning software MS project.
¿ Excellent communication skills and the ability to build bridges between the various departments in the companies¿ matrix organization.
