¿ Therapists at Skin Center must present a well groomed appearance at all times. Uniforms must be worn at all times in the salon and must be laundered and pressed.
¿ Therapists are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift and may be required to stay 15 minutes after their shift if they are with a client. Under no circumstances should a therapist leave the Centre early without the Manager's approval.
¿ Therapists are expected to assist in all Skin Center activities including staff meetings, educational events, workshops, inventory, unpacking orders, sales promotions, Centre cleaning and housekeeping duties.
¿ Therapists must maintain the treatment rooms (and other work areas) in a professional manner. This may include stocking trolleys, cleaning the area, folding linen, and instrument sterilization.
¿ Therapists are always professional and give 100% to every client; never make a client feel you are anything less than professional.
¿ In order to maintain consistency among the Skin Center Centers, all treatments are performed per the Procedures Manual unless otherwise noted by an IDI instructor.
¿ Therapist must consistently achieve above average retail per hour sales figures.
¿ Consistently follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Skin Center manuals.
¿ Therapist may be called upon to assist the assistant manager in, training sessions, workshops, events etc.
¿ May assist Center management in stock taking, reception cover and room checking.
¿ Therapist must successfully complete all Dermalogica classes within one year of her joining.
¿ Must have completed an approved program (diploma) of training at an esthetics / skincare training institute preferably at the International Dermal Institute.
¿ Must have at least 2 years previous experience in the skin care industry.
¿ She must have worked at a skincare center and have hands-on practical experience in doing facial and body treatments.
¿ At the conclusion of the 90 day transition period, a therapist has complete knowledge of all Skin Center treatments/services and must pass all assessments conducted by a qualified trainer.
¿ Additionally an accommodation or accommodation allowance will be provided.
¿ Therapists will be eligible for commissions based on their performance, revenue generation and customer satisfaction levels. Commission structure exists separately based on retail products and services revenue targets and on over all performance.
