RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDES SAFETY , HEALTH AND ENVIROMENTAL ISSUES .MONITOR SUBCONTRACTORS ON EFFECTIVELY IMPLIMENTING SAFETY PRINCIPLES. ENFORCE LOCAL AUTHORITY REQUIREMENTS ON SAFETY AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS ¿ (JAFZA, PCFC AND DUBAI MUNCIPALITY).
Overall in-charge of the Safety, Health and Environment functions of the plant. Role entails risk assessment & accident control, implementation of safety policies, compliance with statutory requirements, analysis of vulnerable zones & implementing safe work to ensure zero accidents.
(a) Evaluate construction proposal of contractor with regard to safety of works as well as the general public. Assist Planning Engineer and Construction Manager in this regard.
(b) Ensure safety measures are in place before start of construction and ensure its compliance through out execution phase.
(c) Visit accident sites, evaluate the causes and submit report along with remedial measures.
(d) If lane is closed due to accident, ensure its opening ASAP.
(e) Ensure contractor adheres to norms laid down and is sensitive to environment
(f) He acts as Labour Officer of the company and will ensure that Labour Laws are implemented by contractors.
An engineer with requisite experience in construction who is well versed with safety standards specified in IRC code. He should have handled site safety for last five years. Good knowledge of traffic
QUALIFIACATION :- DEGREE/ DIPLOMA WITH SAFETY COURSE APPROVED BY LOCAL AUTHORITY. QUALIFIED CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY NIOSH,DOSH ETC.
EXPERIENCE :- MINIMUM FIVE YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE CONSTRUCTION SITE ..PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CANDIDATES WITH WORKING EXPERIENCE IN THE MIDDLE EAST.
