Safety Manager

The incumbent should be Graduate Engineer with Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, ISM Code Auditor, Risk Assessment, HSEQ Management System Internal Auditor with Membership in recognized safety councils.
Framing out the HSE manual/plan for the Company and update the same as and when necssary. Also framed out the Project Quality Plan as required by ISO authorities.
Take care of Training needs of employees as per the HSE Matrix given by the client & Management.
Conduct internal corporate HSE Audit, Environmental Audit, Journey Management Audit and Health Audit as per HSE Plan.
Assisting the cleints during site visits, HSE Audit and various inspections. Casecading the information to all workforce which is received from PDO/BSC/IIRSM/LPA/NSC and other sources.
Conducting Job Hazard Analysis and maintaining Hazards register and informing ways and means to eliminate Job Related Hazards. Conduct Health Risk Assessment jobs related to project. Conduct Driving skill assessment for employees involved in driving activities.
Inspection - Workshop, Camp, Fire extinguishers, Vehicles, Lifting equipments etc.
Investigating all Accidents/Incidents/Near Misses. Circulate Corrective Action Measures in the form of Safety Flash/Safety Alert/Notices etc.
Issue safety default to vehicles and equipments and also issue violation reports to the management for violating employees.
Conduct Evacuation Fire Drills and Emergency Procedures as scheduled in HSE Plan.
Submittal of HSE Monthly Returns to the client and management.
Ensure all wastes are segregated and disposed according to the norms of the client with proper documentation. Conduct Periodic Audits and send report to client and management.
Nominate Safety Champion / Safety Man of the month.
Conduct training programmes such as ESSW.
To carry routine evaluations of the workplace to identify non-conformance with the operational safety regulations, departmental safety rules or working practice.
