The desired candidate should have 8 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field. Incumbent shall be responsible for managing the development, launch and maintenance of all web and portal projects through its entire life-cycle. Besides co-ordinating and managing the development work through a team of developers for new projects, he shall also be the webmaster for the existing sites and look after their enhancements. He must possess project management skills and work against target deadlines. He should be able to independently meet clients, understand requirements, draw up specifications and cost estimates for new projects. The candidate should have demonstrated capability in the conceiving and execution of web projects and has intimate knowledge of internet technology and its commercial exploitation. He must have a minimum experience of 8 years in IT with 6 years in web development work.
PMI Certification is highly desirable
Required Technical Skills:
ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, LINUX, SQL Server, DHTML/HTML, Javascript, C #, IIS 5.0
Exposure to the following technologies is advantageous :
Middleware: Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat, JBoss, (J2EE, EJB and JSP applications)
Database: Oracle 9i, MS Access, Visual FoxPro
Development Tools:JSP, Java, SOAP
Tools: Erwin, Toad, Crystal Reports 8.0, Rational Rose, Visual Source Safe, Spy, Macromedia
