Directs & controls a section (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Instrument) engaged in preparing & updating technical standards and code of practices. Performs technical audits on contract packages to ensure required Company standards are adhered to. Responsibilities include to provide process Instrument Engg. support & technical expertise to production, maintenance & project in ensuring that all International Standards are followed. Prepare Engg/Design packages for plant modifications. Ensure efficient plant operations.
Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering with 3 - 5 years experience in erection and trouble-shooting of control panels. Should be capable of independently managing all electrical and instrumentation aspects.
Working experience specializing in electrical, electronics, mechanical or instrumentation. Experience assoicated specifically with Oil & Gas electrical/electronic equipment, must be able to read and understand schematic diagram, trouble shoot electrical/electronic equipment. Conversant with US/UK Electrical Codes.
Experience in petrochemical/Oil & Gas environment. Thorough knowledge of plant maintenance practices, policies and procedures. Familar with TQM/ISO Standards, Codes, regulations. Must be computer literate.
