MEP Coordinator

The desired candidate should have atleast 6 to 10 years of experience in MEP coordination. The candidate will coordinate Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades for general construction projects that range from high rise Building, office, retail, industrial, hospital and other large commercial construction . During pre-construction you will provide value analysis for pre-design and design build plans and specs to assist in development of negotiated design/build GMP or hard-bid estimates. Candidate will assist in developing schedules, budgets and implement appropriate RFI/change order processes. Work directly with PMs, Superintendents and in-house project staff while maintaining open and frank communication with sub-contractors. Able to direct testing, running, and commissioning of installed systems prior to hand over to client.
MEP Coordinator must have previous general contracting experience as well as working knowledge of sub-trades. 10-15 years experience, 5 as MEP coordinator or equivalent. Excellent communication skills a must. Proficient in budgeting, scheduling, documentation and in the RFI/CO process. Background experience open, projects normally 60% mechanical/40% electrical/plumbing. This is a hands-on field position.
