The incumbent will carry out the following responsibility:
1.. Must be able to check coordinates - for example foundation location, underground pipe location, road location, monuments, etc.
2.. Must be able to check elevations - topographical surveys, setting shims, etc.
3.. Must be able to check foundations prior to casting for location, elevation, formwork dimensions, anchor bolt and insert location including elevation, etc.
4.. Must be able to do "as-built's" of foundations after casting and be able to check vessel / equipment / structure alignments after erection.
5.. Must be capable of submitting surveying reports for work done.
He should be familiar with the use of Theodolite, Total Station and Instrument Level
The ideal candidate would be a Civil Engineer with 5 to 7years experience in Construction and Plant surveying works.
He should be capable of reading drawings, familiar in using survey equipments including total station will be an advantage for this position.
Experience in Total Station and other surveying instruments, Good Communication Skills, Basic Knowledge of Computer.
Must have 3-4 yrs exp in civil construction companies. With working knowlege of thedolite and total station is a must.
