1. Review the original and revised bill of quantities and unit rates;
2. Establish the ¿for construction¿ (FC) and final as-built quantities and estimates;
3. Analyze drawing register & ensure all revisions are included and copies of drawings are available;
4. Ensure drawing revisions are constantly reviewed for changes;
5. Agree weightings and progress claim formats with the Contractor¿s representative;
6. Material take-off, labour and equipment costing, and determine unit rates for changes in the works;
7. Determine the scope of work and specifications;
8. Ensure all specifications and theirs revisions are available and followed by construction personnel;
9. Responsible for preparation and substantiation of claims;
10. Ensure that the method of measurement is in accordance with acceptable and internationally recognized standard method of measurements;
11. Preparation of monthly progress reports, interim work valuation and any other reports required by the Contractor and QK to meet their requirements in the related work;
12. Ensure the following registers are updated at least weekly:
a. Site Notice
b. Change Proposal
c. Specifications list
d. Drawings list
e. Material Take-off list
f. Monthly progress reports, claims, certificates, invoices, etc.
13. Responsible for verification and certification of the Subcontractor¿s progress claim reports, measurements, progress, invoices, etc., and management on site in accordance with QK¿s guidelines;
14. Provide supervision to Quantity Surveyors, Assistant Quantity Surveyors, and Cost Assistants; and
15. Any other duties as may be assigned to the Lead QS from time to time by the PCCM.
Candidate must have an experience of atleast 2 to 5 years in Quantity Surveying of big building projects. He has to be previously with Towers, Five star hotels and high rise buildings.
Salary : AED 2500
