Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the preparation of a comprehensive claim(s) for delays, disruption, acceleration, changed conditions and prolongation including Notification and establishment of entitlements. The demonstration of cause and effect, links, logic and mitigation. The development of Schedule Impact analysis. The evaluation of compilation of damages. The assembly of all historical and substantiating documents in support of "actual" costs. Preparation of expert narratives and supporting graphics. Preparation of document databases. Interface with reviewing entities including the client. Negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation support.
Applicant will report directly to the Project Controls and/or Contracts Manager.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level and be a member of a recognized professional institution within the Engineering & Construction Industry. (MRICS/MICE/MCIOB).

Experience
The individual must have a proven track record in a contracts administration and or senior quantity surveying role for at least 10 years with Contractors and Clients and preferably on Electro Mechanical Projects within the infrastructure sector. The profile must include significant exposure to multimillion dollar Engineering and Construction claims preferably from the outset throughout final settlement. Experience in "preparation" of claims rather than "evaluation" of claims would be an advantage. Middle East Experience in this instance is essential.
