For one of our clients, a famous Fragrance House in United Arab Emirates, involved in the Fragrance manufacturing and retail, we are looking for a Chemist in Perfumery.
Creating and updating a data base for all aroma chemical and essential oils;
Obtaining the physical details of each product;
Classifying each material based on its olfactory family and sub-family;
Preparing formulas, sample preparation and analyzing the concentration;
Designing new flavor and fragrance formulas by combining particular chemicals and oils as required;
Monitoring the product quality according to the quality standards;
Making the entire required olfactory test to determine the quality of the each raw material;
Blinding all the required formulas;
Communicating with the suppliers.
Bachelor degree in Chemistry (Organic Chemistry/ Aromatic/ Pysical Chemistry) or Pharmacology;
2 to 3 years of experience in perfumery and/ or cosmetic industry – in similar organic/ aromatic chemical laboratory;
Fluency in English;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Attention to details;
Ability to set priorities, to plan and organize multiple tasks and assignements.
