Job Responsibilities
• Take-off quantities for ordering of material.
• Evaluate contractual variations and estimate new rates, quantities, budget provisions and similar issues.
• Assist in the preparation and settlement of claims and disputes.
• Prepare monthly payments and various progress and cost reports.
• Coordinate with the project team on all contractual & commercial matters to support administration of the project.
Requirements:
• B.S. in Engineering Discipline (Preferably Civil Engineering, as majority is civil projects)
• 3-5 years of working experience
• Knowledge of planning, costing principles.
• Previous experience of reporting to clients. Exposure to budgeting a project.
• Knowledge of the usual software used by Project Controls Department, such as MS Office and Autocad.
• Proven, hands on experience of quantity estimation.
• Good knowledge of Primavera is required for the planning engineers only.
• Good organizing and planning skills, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work under pressure and follow tight deadlines, good quantity surveying skills
