On behalf of one of our international clients we are looking to find several Piping Engineers and several Electrical Engineers for positions within Kuwait, Egypt and Iraq.
Electrical Engineer : Role & Responsibility
• Preparation of electrical design philosophy
• Listing of engineering deliverable document and estimation of manpower/man-hour to be executed
• Making of time schedule for engineering activities
• Preparation of electrical specification and data sheet
• Preparation of motor and electrical load lists
• Calculation for load flow and short circuit current, voltage drop, motor starting, re-acceleration
studies, sizing of electrical equipment and protection relay setting & coordination studies
• Preparation of material take-offs and requisitions, carrying out technical bid analysis,
clarification meeting with vendor and checking/approval of vendor prints
• Selection and use of design software for electrical calculation
• Coordination with client / licenser and other disciplines for engineering activities
• Preparation of QA/QC plan and QC check list for internal audit as a part of Company
implementation of quality system
• Assistance to inspection department during Factory Acceptance Test
• Field engineering activities
• Preparation of electrical equipment modeling and clash checking
Piping Engineers: Role & Responsibility
• Works for piping stress analysis job leader.
• Preparation of piping stress analysis philosophy, specifications, coordination & work procedure
• Execution of piping stress analysis according to job specification by CAESARII.
• Execution of the integrity analysis of piping supports.
• Check of stress analysis result performed by others and comment on them.
• Check of isometric drawings of stress critical lines.
• Acquisition of required information from piping and other disciplines.
• Preparation of data sheet & Material requisition sheet for special piping items such as spring support, expansion joint and the special supporting device of piping.
• TBE of special piping items (spring support, expansion joint) quoted from vendors.
• Coordination with client / licenser and other disciplines for engineering activities
• Check of manufacture’s drawing and documents (vendor prints) of piping and other disciplines.
Electrical Engineers - Requirements:
* B.S. or equivalent degree in Engineering
• Preparation of electrical equipment modeling and clash checking
• Have an extensive experience in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals)
• A proven track record of working on FEED and EPC phases for major Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals
• Ability to deal with resolution of technical and contractual issues and policing of the design to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Proven Engineer experience
• Experience in a similar role within the contractor environment
• Experience of leading teams
• Astute and conversant with the latest advances in technology
• Knowledge of international codes and specs
• Proven strong character and self-motivated individual
• Proven ability to engage in effective dealings with both client / owner and detail design contractors
• Good level of spoken and written English
Piping Engineers - Requirements:
*B.S Mechanical Engineering
• Have a minimum of 12years extensive experience of piping stress analysis in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals).
• A proven track record of working on EPC phases for major Oil & Gas, LNG, Refining, Petrochemicals
• Ability to deal with resolution of technical and contractual issues and policing of the piping stress analysis to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Experience of leading piping stress analysis teams
• Astute and conversant with the latest advances in technology
• Knowledge of international codes and specs
• Proven strong character and self-motivated individual
• Proven ability to engage in effective dealings with both client / owner and detail design contractors
• Good level of spoken and written English
