1. Defines and communicates the responsibilities to establish and achieve goals and operational objectives.
2. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or plant progress toward stated goals and objectives.
3. Complies with the policies, Code of Conduct, Environmental Management System (ISO 14000) and Quality System (ISO TS 16949).
4. Ensures that the quality objectives are accomplished, such as delivery on time, productivity, scrap, customer complaints, continuous improvement, cost reduction, financial results, sales, customer services, safety objectives, etc.
5. Provide resources to implement and execute Quality and Environmental Systems and follow-up the progress.
6. Ensures that the plant operations are conducted in compliance with Romanian labor laws and regulations.
7. Develops the annual operating budget for plant operations. Continuously monitors expenditures throughout the budget period against budgets goal with the support of the department managers.
8. Keeps a continuous improvement system in order to comply with customer requirements and expectations including a revision of the schedule.
9. Communicates periodically customers requirements and expectations to achieve the company's goals and operational objectives.
1. Master's degree (M.S.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Previous working experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive industry, particularly with occupant safety restraint systems and components.
3. Experience with Toyota Production System disciplines and requirements and TS-16949.
4. Team-worker, results-oriented, dynamic.
5. Team leadership, strong communication and presentation skills, problem-solving skills.
6. Interpersonal skills to influence people.
7. 4-5 years of management experience.
