For our client, a top multinational automotive company with one of the production units located in Dej, we are looking for a Automation Engineer.
General responsibilities:
- Provides application/control systems design and development for systems of varied complexity;
- Develops and evaluates alternative machinery/system solutions that meet stated requirements;
- Modifies machinery/program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems;
- Interacts with customers to gain an understanding of the business environment. Defines scope, plans and deliverables for assigned work;
- Work successfully in a matrix structure; focused strongly on customer service and personnel growth;
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Design, development and troubleshooting experience of advanced motion control systems including multi axis, coordinated axis applications is a plus.
- Automotive/Electronics/Mechanics experience.
- Experience successfully managing projects with teams of 3 to 5 engineers.
- Experience successfully managing technical projects through the entire project cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, commissioning, and closing phases.
- Familiar with common Project Management tools for managing budget, schedule, and scope of various size projects.
- Experience mentoring engineers on a technical level.
- At least 3 years experience on a similar position
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Experience in automotive would be consider a plus but not mandatory
- Very good knowledge of Office Pack (focus on Excel, PPT)
- English language - an advanced level (spoken, written, understanding)
- Exhibit capability for time management
- Enthusiasm and drive to be able to focus
- Proven capability for handling large, continuous tasks, and also fast, immediate solution tasks.
