We are a consulting company continuously seeking candidates to our clients within the Oil & Gas Subsea industry. We are frequently receiving requests from our clients and therefore we are predicting soon to be short on excellent skilled Senior System Engineers with a minimum of 5 years experience from the oil and gas industry – subsea/offshore equipments/systems.
RESPONSIBILITY (included but not limited to):
• The Senior System Engineer has the responsibility and function of a Lead Engineer for Work Package 0 (WPO)
MAIN TASKS (included but not limited to):
The Senior System Engineer is responsible for all system engineering activities covered by the scope of the project execution
This will normally cover the following tasks:
• Participate in review of company’s technical specifications
• Establish engineering plan for work package 0
• Facilitate completion of all system engineering documentation as defined by company procedures
• Facilitate establishment and ensure release of projects
• ROV Access analysis
• Tolerance analysis
• Participate and manage internal meetings, review boards and project meetings and technical meetings with company as required
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE AND FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Recognised national qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering – BSc a demand, MSc preferred
• 5+ years experience from the oil & gas industry
• International project experience with subsea/offshore equipment/systems
• A clear understanding of subsea systems – application, functionality and requirements and ability to identify requirements to deliverables
• Technical background as lead engineer or project engineer
• Focus on quality and HMS within the area of responsibility
• An initiator and promoter
• Responsible and have good communication and co-operation skills
• Fluent in English
WORKING AREA:
At our clients' sites in Norway (could be Kongsberg, Oslo, Kristiansand, the West Coast etc.), possibility other places around the world and, hopefully, at future clients in Denmark.
