Where?
You will work in a Danish hospital with stable surroundings, attractive working conditions, possibilities for professional development, a better work-life balance and a future life and career in one of Europe’s top welfare states, in Scandinavia.
Autopsy is performed on adults; fetal autopsy is conducted by another hospital. GP-s and dentists are provided diagnostic services covering an area of 260.000 inhabitants. The department conducts screening of cervical cancer including ca. 18.000 pap smears yearly. This function is driven by bioanalysts extensively.
Official responsibilities:
• Diagnosing and treatment of patient referred to the department.
• The Staff Specialist will partake in the department’s general work on the same terms as the other doctors of the department, including on-call duties and acute procedures.
• The Staff Specialist will partake in teaching of all the professions of the department, and will take active part in the training of junior doctors and other associated professions.
You are:
- Specialized in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Experienced and/or interested in the area of forefeet surgery
- Speak English on a professional level
- Motivated for living and working abroad
- A good communicator, with focus on the verbal communication with the clinical colleagues, patients, nurses and medical secretaries
- Able to take responsibility for the professional governance of an interdisciplinary team
- Able to function in a multifarious department, where several doctors have another background than Danish.

•Permanent contract regulated by the Danish collective agreement
•Minimum yearly salary: 94.000 Euro (including pension benefits)
