On behalf of our clients within the wind power industry we are continuously looking for highly skilled consultants with experience from the wind power industry.
Mechatronic Engineer with experience from the wind power industry
Key responsibilities:
• Create layouts and assemblies of electrical cabinet designs
• Routing cables inside the wind turbine
• Creation of skeleton, flat harness and cable drawings
Interactions & responsibilities:
• Secure quality of 3D models and drawings
• Co-operate with project members on dimensional management, volume of control and volume of activity, interfaces in layout issues for the electrical system
• Work in close co-operation with design engineers, module responsible and the project manager
Deliverables:
• Drawings of components and assemblies in document management system
• The basic deliverables are 2D and 3D ProE models, assemblies and Bill of Materials as well as generation of parts and family tables according to CAD guidelines
• Deliver screen shots showing that all interfaces are fine
Competences:
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position within the wind power industry
• Good data management skills and a good understanding of basic mechanical design
• Good communication skills across the organisation, good teamwork skills and ability to plan own work
• Experienced in General Mechatronics Design (from concept to detail design)
• Experienced in cable routing, cables, electrical components
• Experienced in Design for Manufacturing
• Experience in top down design approach and managing with large assembly in ProE
• Expertise in 3D modelling, 2D drawing creation and BoM
• Fluent in English – verbally and written
