JOB DESCRIPTION:
Manager - who will be responsible for pig production on two different sites.
You will be responsible for all daily tasks in the stables with the help of an assistant.
The farmer does not participate in the daily work. Therefore, you need to be a responsible, independent person that can take charge and manage all aspects of the production.
Other responsibilities to include repairing of feed system and other repairs.
FARM DESCRIPTION:
240 ha Land /324 sows with 6500 finishers. The farm has own landrace to gilts for replacing the sows. The feed system in the farm is both dry and liquid feed.
HOUSING:
House is shared with other employees: 2200 Danish Krowns per month (DKK). The price includes electricity, heat, water, internet and cable TV.
TRANSPORT:
You will live 8 km from the production site and will have scooter and/or tractor for transportation.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- young, motivated, serious and responsible person;
- proven experience of minimum several years in running a farm as a farm manager;
- able to act independently for all daily tasks and to manage all aspects of the production.
- B category driving licence; Tractor driving licence is an advantage;
- advanced English language skills.
- willing for a long term relocation to Denmark.
