RESPONSABILITATI

We are a consulting company continuously seeking candidates to our clients within the Oil & Gas Subsea industry.​ We are frequently receiving requests from our clients and therefore we are predicting soon to be short on excellent skilled Lead Engineers with a minimum of 5 years experience from the oil and gas industry - preferably subsea.​


RESPONSIBILITY (included but not limited to):

Overall technical responsible/​management for defined projects:
• Work to fulfil contractual obligations within given budgets and schedules
• Budget follow-up
• Establish and maintain projects and plans
• Internal and external interfaces
• Establish and maintain the Requirement Management Matrix (RMM) for technical requirements.​
• Instruct and follow-up on project engineering
• Work to be executed in accordance with company policies and the company processes to the quality specified for implied by contractual documents and in accordance with ISO 9001.​


AUTHORITY (included but not limited to):
• Authority to decide technical solutions in projects, in accordance with project frame and company/​department standards.​
• Authority on behalf of the project manager to initiate work or variations to the work.​
• The Lead Engineer has the authority to act as a system engineer in tender – if assigned and approved by the group manager.​
• Approve project documents within the department


MAIN TASKS (included but not limited to):

Overall technical responsible/​management for defined projects:
• Ensure work is executed in accordance with company policies and processes to the quality specified for implied by contractual documents and in accordance with ISO 9001.​
• Work closely together with project management and organisation throughout the project.​
• Promote a proactive attitude in interactions with customers during the tender and project mobilisation phase, suppliers and company personnel to ensure the system quality and integrity of the system.​


TENDER
• Work in tenders


PROJECT STARTUP
• Establish project in cooperation with the project management according to project start-up plan
• Review contract and clarifications
• Review with client and project to settle design basis, field layout and scope of work
• Provide drawings for procurement of long lead items
• Establish project plans together with project management
• Establish plan for all sub system activities
• Establish projects
• Establish plans incorporating milestone dates from the project and need dates from suppliers
• Establish qualification and test plans and define test equipment
• Identify internal and external interfaces
• Prepare inputs
• Establish the Requirement Management Matrix (RMM)


PROJECT EXECUTION
• Follow up man hour budget, and provide man hour forecasts
• Follow-up engineering status and performance of the engineering
• Responsible for technical meetings with project engineering
• Ensure incorporation of lessons learned
• Ensures that systems solutions and standard products are selected
• Ensures that documents, drawings and models are prepared according to E-plan
• Cooperate with project management regarding costs and progress

PROJECT CLOSURE
• Prepare input to Project Close Out Report


KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
• Ensure that experiences from contract, engineering, manufacturing, testing and installation is known within the department and used in ongoing and future products and procedures on a regular basis
• Propose process improvements


CERINTE

RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE AND FORMAL QUALIFICATIONS (included but not limited to):
• BSc in engineering.​ MSc degree preferred
• 5+​ years experience from the oil and gas industry - preferably subsea
• Understanding of mechanical design, testing and fabrication
• 5+​ years experience from project execution including management of technical teams, budget follow up, resource management
• 5+​ years experience in preparing reports and documentation
• Excellent communication skills inside and outside the organisation
• Cultural sensitivity & integrity
• Solid English skills (verbally & written)
• Ability to adjust to change
• High sense of quality and on time performance
• Service mind-set


WORKING AREA:
At our clients' sites in Norway (could be Kongsberg, Oslo, Kristiansand, the West Coast etc.​), possibility other places around the world and, hopefully, at future clients in Denmark.​
