FE Engineer with experience from the wind power industry
Key responsibilities:
• Finite element analyses and structural verification of main components in e.g. nacelle and tower
Interactions & responsibilities:
• Perform analyses and structural verification using the FE tool of main components in e.g. nacelle and tower as part of feasibility studies, new development projects and/or updates of existing platform components
• Development of FE models for linear an nonlinear calculations for extreme load and fatigue load assessment
• Presentation of result for internal review
• Preparation of documentation for 3rd party approval
Deliverables:
• Finite element analyses
• Presentation of intermediate results
• Documentation for 3rd party approval
Competences:
• Masters Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position within the wind power industry
• Highly experienced in using the FE method for structural calculations
• Highly experienced within analytical calculation of structural design
• Experience with fatigue calculations and ProEngineer design tool
• Fluent in English – verbally and written
