Electrical Designer with experience from the wind power industry
Key responsibilities:
• System and layout design of electrical control and power applications and modules
• Maintenance of electrical systems on existing platforms
• Electrical documentation (requirement specifications, design documentation and electrical diagrams)
• Component qualification with focus on strategic sourcing and supplier quality
Interactions & responsibilities:
• Project managers and platform managers (global)
• Engineering R&D line organisations (electrical, mechanical and turbine software)
• Production business units
• External partners: test centres/laboratories and suppliers
Deliverables:
• Design and optimisation of electrical components, systems and application for turbines
• Test, validation and qualification of components and sub-systems in laboratories and sites
• Design and product documentation
Competences:
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position within the wind power industry
• Thorough knowledge of EN/IEC60204-1
• Team worker, structured, open-minded, credible, ambitious, communicative, self-motivated and robust
• Fluent in English – verbally and written
