You will be the designer for control algorithm for Power Conversion and power stage modelling.
You will as control designer be deeply involved in support to next generation of controller development
The Results of you job are:
• Delivering the projects on time.
• Make sure that the quality of the developed product is according to Vestas standard.
• Make sure Documentation is in place and the new design has been tested.
• Make sure all Risks are identified in the new design.
• Make sure that the right design is chosen.
• Good experience in design of converter systems at medium voltage in Automation- and power Industry, Offshore industry, or similar industrial
• Good experience in getting new idea tested in real life.
• M.Sc in electrical engineering
• Alternative: Experienced B.Sc. electrical engineering (8-10 year) with knowledge in Flexpower controls improvement.
• +5 years experience in Electrical control design and modeling for wind turbines.
• Experience in designing of control and modeling converter system and drive train for a wind turbine.
• Good at generating new design solution with a high technical background.
• Structured, open-minded, credible, ambitious, communicative, self motivated, result oriented.
• Good at presenting technical material to management in a global organization.
• Must be willing to travel abroad (20–30 days/year)
