Automation Application Engineer with experience from the wind power industry – Robots and Automation
Key responsibilities:
• The Automation Application Engineer has profound and extended technical knowledge within application software related to automation
Interactions & responsibilities:
• Giving input to technology planning and strategy regarding the specific disciplines
• Initiating and participating in technical reviews at automation level
• Solving well-defined tasks of a particularly complex nature with the discipline
• Influencing and driving business oriented knowledge development within the field, e.g. revising solutions/processes
• Knowledge sharing within the department
• Keeping up-to-date with international developments of standards, products/solutions and processes in the business within the discipline
Deliverables:
Within the specific component domain supplying:
• Automation oriented requirements specification
• Module design and specifications
• Software design specifications
• Hardware design specifications
• DFMEA
• Test specification
• Integration specification
• Programming of PLC and HMI components
• CE documents and user manual
Competences:
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position within the wind power industry
• Profound technical knowledge and experience with the specific component domain
• Good understanding of automation product, installation and operating context and environment
• Good business understanding and focus
• Customer focus
• Fluent in English – verbally and written
