Reporting ¿ yields, plant costs, capex, balance sheet reconciliation, plant efficiency ¿ energy, productivity, chemical usage, overtime analysis etc.
Control ¿ key member of the plant security team to ensure plant assets are protected; implementation of corporate policies ¿ e.g. security, purchasing, capex, cut-off etc.
Cost analysis ¿ prepare weekly and monthly analysis of manufacturing costs, benchmarking with other plants, efficiency analysis.
Projects ¿ annual budget preparation; new system implementation; benchmarking reports; energy efficiency projects; innovation; information protection; standardization/improvements with other European Plant Accountants.
Supervise and coach other plant accountants.
Professional qualification in finance or accounting (University degree level)
Highly competent with MS Office suite, especially Excel
Fluent English
Knowledge of JD Edwards and US GAAP, industry knowledge and 2-5 years of postgraduate accounting experience, all these will be a plus
