Cummins Romania is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering department. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out work instructions, defining production flow, production capacity and Bill of Material sites for new products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carrying out work instructions and flow productions, workstation ergonomics and lay-out changes, and preparing specific internal controls
• Capacity’s studies preparation, for solutions’ implementation for increasing or decreasing in volumes and for improving solutions’ application regarding the manufacturing process
• Training production personnel for manufacturing processes and related changes
• Participating in the analysis of defects, in the execution of the investment plan, gaining quotes
• Manufacturing processes’ compliance (instructions, flow, etc.) in the production process
• Pursuing programs and participating in weekly production meetings; following action plans and remoulding/reject notes
• Participating in audits and following the action plans
• Participating in investment analysis and validating the stages of investment projects
• Participating in training and implementing corporate projects
• Maintaining the dialogue with Cummins plants on Lessons Learn
• Preparing reports and action plans related on budget process realization on short and long term
• Participating in meetings and analysis and reporting directly to the Hiring Manager any arising manufacturing problem
• Participating in creating punctual investments which are not mentioned in the investment plan
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in technical studies
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Experience in a similar position is a plus, but not necessary
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Fluency in English
• PC operation skills
• Communicative, creative and open to change, attention to details
