Our client is one of the most innovative and most known suppliers in the worldwide automotive industry. With the core expertise in plastic interior and exterior parts our client covers the entire process chain: from product development, to production planning, to production. As a result of the expansion in Romania and the related construction of a new plant, we are looking for a qualified and highly motivated:
Manager Financial Controlling – Romania (m/f)
Your assignments:
* Responsible for the day to day operations of the Finance Department and providing the senior management team with financial and commercial support
* Operate the Finance Department in line with Group Accounting Policies and manage team members in line with the company’s employees charter
* Implement and ensure adherence to the Company finance reporting standards
* Production of monthly Financial (Hyperion Pack) and Management Accounts (Management Reporting Pack) within agreed deadlines
* Ensure timely finance reporting (expenses, profit, cash flow) on a regular basis to local and European management
* Preparation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts
* Ensure SOX compliance at the Division
* Participate in development and implementation of various projects in the field of financial planning and control (SAP project and other)
* Prompting and supporting continuous improvements activities with the suppliers
Our requirements:
* Degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting
* More than five years relevant experience in the financial field (Chief accountant/Financial Manager/Financial controller)
* Experience in preparation of consolidated financial reports
* Able to translate financial information into recommendations for operational efficiency and improvements
* Open minded towards new ideas. You are proposing and actively encouraging ideas from your employees for improvement and change
* Displays a consistently high level of skill in applying decision-making techniques
* Knows how to quickly and accurately access relevant information from different sources
* Fluent in Romanian and English. Other foreign languages are an advantage
* Knowledge of US GAAP and SAP R/3
* Skills in financial planning and forecasting, management of financial risks
* Management experience, good 'coach' and 'delegator'
