Cummins in Craiova - Romania - are recruiting a Management Accounting Manager. Reporting to the Cummins Generator Technologies (CGT) Craiova Plant Controller you will be responsible for leading the costing and inventory processes from a finance perspective for the CGT Craiova site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
* Lead the inventory management process and system from a finance perspective for the CGT Craiova business ensuring control and reporting compliance with group policies
* Own the CGT Craiova costing process and system ensuring accurate calculation and compliance with group policies
* Own the CGT Craiova credit control/past dues process
* Lead the CGT Craiova process to gather key financial management information and deliver reports and insightful commentary for senior management on key initiatives such as plant costs, capital spend, and material variances.
* Manage the annual operating plan and monthly forecast cycle for CGT Craiova Operations and Supply functions ensuring alignment with CGT parameters
* Provide financial support for projects within the operations and supply functions to enable effective decision making
* Provide direction and influence key business partners within the CGT Craiova operations and supply teams ensuring the financial and analytical needs of the CGT Craiova Plant Financial Controller, Plant Manager and Supply Manager are being met
* A key member of the CGT Craiova Finance team who actively influences the team and where appropriate would deputize for the Plant FC and assume responsibilities in his I her absence
* Build and develop strong cross functional working relationships with key business partners within CGT Craiova
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master Degree in Finance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Experience of acting as a finance business partner within a manufacturing organization
* Experience in managing through influencing
* Experience of working in matrix structures with large companies
* Excellent PC knowledge (Microsoft Office)
* Excellent knowledge of English, Romanian is a plus
