- coordinate the Route Operators to work effectively within the TMS application;
- support and drive LCU improvements via truck saturation synergies;
- lead the implementation of a re-engineered network plan within the TMS application ensuring each operator has clearly defined execution plans with seamless production effect;
- revise and agree daily tactical plans, to deliver added, short-term efficiencies over and above the engineered network, where opportunities lie;
- provide knowledge based / factual information on improvement opportunities to the Network Planning department to reduce daily fluctuations within the network and supply chain;
- capture and report cost reduction synergies;
- ensure all operators are trained on all aspects of the TMS as new functionalities are released into production from the central development team acting as a local product specialist.
- university degree in a technical field;
- minimum 2 years experience in logistics;
- good knowledge of the logistics process;
- good Team Player and managerial skills;
- excellent communication skills;
- knowledge and experience of TMS application;
- analytical with attention to detail;
- excellent working knowledge of MS Office;
- comfortable working in a diverse, multi-cultural team;
- good command of English language (speaking and writing);
- self-motivated with excellent organisational skills and the ability to react quickly and calmly within a demanding environment.
