Product development engineer for manufacturing launch / system area leader (vehicule prototype)
Main Activities/Tasks:
· To plan, control, direct and execute component and system engineering development
· To provide core technical expertise for specific systems across the range of current projects.
· To provide leadership and task management for engineers and CAD designers engaged
More than 3 years experience as a product engineer.
· Comprehensive vehicle or system technology knowledge suitable for accepting system responsibility with minimal technical supervision.
· Experienced with product development techniques such as risk management, product validation, CAD development, tolerancing, cost & weight optimization, bill of material development, product target and specification setting.
· Experienced in engineering project management techniques such as critical path analysis, project gateway reviews, project reporting, supplier workscope definition etc.
· Good collaboration skills working as part of a wider project to optimize vehicle performance.
· Ability to understand the engineering mechanisms behind component performance (Root Cause Analysis).
· Ability to provide task leadership to engineers and CAD designers within their specific area; this includes both verbal and written communication and motivational skills.
· Conversant with PC Office and database technology along with an overview of CAD and CAE simulation techniques
· Good personal responsibility and organization.
· Desire for learning and continuous development.
