Cummins Romania is looking for experienced candidates for a HSE role. Working in this role you will be responsible for Security, Health and Environment areas at work. This key role is reporting directly to General Manager in Craiova.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements according to Romanian legislation and group policies and procedures
• Developing site specific safety policies, procedures and programs in alignment with national legislation, as well as corporate and PGBU programs
• Developing and devising implementation plans for health, safety and environmental training
• Identifying and developing control plans for hazards which exist at the site
• Interacting with regulatory agencies as required to maintain compliance with all applicable standards
• Managing environmental remediation projects as required to maintain compliance with all applicable standards
• Recordkeeping
• Supporting Corporate initiatives and interfacing with Corporate entities on health, safety, environmental and security matters
• Ensuring site emergency preparedness
• Driving world class health, safety, environmental and security performance for the site
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor degree in safety, environmental or related management/engineering field
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Practical knowledge of local regulatory requirements for health, safety and environment
• Previous experience within a HSE department (preferably global)
• PC and database skills
• Fluency in English
• Attention to details
• Communicative, creative, people oriented and open to change.
