RESPONSABILITATI

-Provide a service to projects and shops to enable those defined to meet or exceed their targets.
-Work in conjunction with the projects and assist the construction effort in applying the most cost effective plan to completion and lead the execution of that plan in accordance with the Corporate and Area guidelines and operating standards.
-Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day rigging management and to perform supervisory functions for operation of the heavy equipment.
-Responsible for co-coordinating most productive use of material and equipment across a multi project environment in the yard.
-Maintain a close relationship with all current projects’ engineers to allow maximum utilization of equipment.
-Ensure compliance with HSE policy and attach line supervisory responsibilities.
-Ensure department compliance with applicable Level 1 and Level 2 Company Guidelines.
-Forecast any future needs of specific pieces of equipment not normally available within the company. This will be achieved whilst maintaining the standards of safety and quality defined in the company procedures.
-It is imperative that the fabrication management of the company provide direction for the management of the project within the constraints of the multi-project environment.
-It is fundamental for the construction activities to be managed in the best interest of the shareholders of JRM.

Safety
-Be pro-active in the approach to safety issues.
-Be aware of Level 2 Guidelines.
-Participate in toolbox talks.
-Participate in risk assessment.
-Promote BBSM process.
-Be familiar with, and fully understand Company HSE Policies, Philosophy and Procedures.
-Ensure employee compliance with Company HSE Policies, Philosophy and Procedures.
-Ensure HSE is given priority equal to that assigned to production; quality and morale (make time for HSE each day).
-Ensure that employees are adequately trained to execute work assignment (i.e. skills are matched tasks assigned). Particular attention shall be paid to new employees.
-Ensure each employee is adequately prepared to execute work assignments (this involves task planning and instruction and confirmation employee understanding, hazard identification and confirmation of understanding of potential hazards). Particular attention shall be paid to new employees.
-Ensure that employees comply with job instructions (particularly new or hazardous tasks require close and direct supervision).
-Particular attention shall be paid to new employees.
-Identify, stop and immediately correct unsafe acts.
-Listen to and evaluate any employee concerns. Potential hazards shall be immediately addressed.
-Ensure employees’ attendance at toolbox safety meetings and ensure an understanding of issues discussed.
-Ensure all employees are issued with appropriate personnel protective equipment and to ensure that they are properly trained regarding its care and use.
-Ensure areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
-Apply the STOP principles.
-Encourage safe working practices through positive reinforcement. Disciplinary action, however, will be used as required.
-Lead employees through example


CERINTE

-Seek guidance from the Fabrication Superintendent and Fabrication Management as appropriate before making critical and important decisions.
-Provide direction and make decisions in pursuit of the project and area goals and objectives.
-Provide leadership to the department Supervisors.
-Set standards of behavior.
-Solicit ideas from the team members in order to overcome any difficulties that may be encountered during the implementation of the project.
-Provide best technical solutions to construction team.
-Foster an environment for building team morale and build consensus within the team.
-Hold the members of the rigging team accountable for work performed per their roles and responsibilities.
-Clearly delegate actions and responsibilities and define deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to team members.
-Facilitate timely problem resolution with the rigging team members.
-Facilitate the interface between the rigging / scaffold, construction team, the safety and quality departments.
-Plan the project to a level of detail to enable sound decision making and clear definition of weekly requirements to those executing the work.
-Forecast tools and equipment needs for the scope of work being undertaken.
-Identify specific training needs in advance of the requirement.
-Be involved in the review of the plan in consultation with the Project Fabrication Superintendent and other team members and agree and confirm the 4WLA activities and manning requirements.
-Demonstrate good planning and organization in your day to day activities.
-Obtain commitment from all the Projects on the timely delivery of data to ensure the labor force allocated to the work is productively used.
-Monitor productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance.
-Institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures / work instructions.
-Review the project progress and productivity with the Fabrication Superintendent.
-When attending meetings, arrive fully prepared and informed to provide answers to questions raised during the meeting. Be prepared to fully participate in the meeting.
-Responsible for directing of activities of all movable equipment, providing men with equipment to fabrication, offshore platforms, supervising the lifting and load out of all heavy structures as per load out procedures.
-Keep track of man-hours on all jobs.
-Direct the activities of the Rigging Department.
-Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping.
-Ensure that all rigging equipment is in line with company guidelines.
-Ensure training of operators and equipment is structured.
