QA/QC Manager and Deputy QA/QC Manager
Manage the engineering and development of automatic welding systems and provide metallurgical consultative service to the company’s operating groups.
-Degree in Metallurgical Engineering
-15 years’ experience directly related to welding metals and alloys
-Performs direct management of engineering related to the development of automatic welding systems and consultative welding services.
-Evaluates requests for services of the welding department received from other company units. Ensures that proper priorities and schedules are established, and reviews work to make sure that these schedules are maintained.
-Works with various managers and supervisors on future plans and latest technology available related to welding of metals and alloys.
-Maintains proper atmosphere to encourage employee development and encourages contacts with other technical groups to ensure that latest technology is being applied.
-Coordinates and directs activity directed at technical standardization between all divisions to ensure that general welding procedures are similar.
-Reviews and monitors monthly schedules, budgets and operating reports.
-Evaluates the performance of engineers reporting directly to him and makes decisions regarding changes in classification and/or compensation.
-Manages welding development facility including metallurgical laboratory.
