Duties:

Operate and maintain water treatment plants

Requirements:

• Experience in operating, servicing, and maintaining water and wastewater treatment equipment
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and operating water and wastewater plant systems
• Understand hydraulics and the relationships between pressure and flow
• Understand the operation and troubleshooting of mechanical devices and systems (e.g. pumps)
• Understand the principles and operation of water and wastewater treatment processes
• Be capable of understanding and operating the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that controls the plant, and be able to read and understand diagrams, schematics, and operation instructions
