-The qualified candidate will adhere to company policies, procedures and work requirements, and also perform other related duties and assignments as required.
-The Offshore Manager / Barge Superintendent must understand job information letter, blueprints, load out sketches and procedures and general barge forms.
-Also, being able to have the ability to anchor a barge at a given location according to weather conditions, pipelines, underwater obstructions, etc. so that the barge operations can be accomplished safely and efficiently, will be a must for this position.
-Understanding all aspects of barge operations is necessary to fulfill this position, along with having extensive experience in the Offshore Construction Field on Pipe lay or Derrick Barges.
-You will assist in planning offshore structural installations and pipeline work; assigns projects to the Field Engineer, as well as develop and establish operational procedures as per project requirements with regards to equipment, procurement and personnel requirements.
-Project Worksite procedures and Technical specifications.
-Supervise Worksite performance.
-Ensure that contractual and operational relations to the highest standard are maintained with Customer, Subcontractors and Suppliers at the Worksite.
-Overall management of the allocated Worksite.
-Establish a good working environment at the Worksite.
-Review personnel performances with the Project Manager.
-Review Project Worksite procedures and Technical specifications.
-Ensure that contractual and operational relations to the highest standard are maintained with Customer, Subcontractors and Suppliers at the Worksite.
.-Delivery in accordance with established contractual and project quality requirements.
-Adherence to Project HSE and Quality requirements.
-Routine reporting of offshore performance and work task completions.
-Project delivery within agreed milestones.
-Establish routine, HSE and Experience Feed-back reports for Worksite performances.
-Being fully conversant with all the terms and conditions of the contract, both technically and commercially, with a complete understanding of the specified scope of work.
-Documenting, and ensuring the effective circulation of all documentation pertaining to project decisions.
-Maintaining a close liaison with the Diving Superintendent/Senior Supervisor for the project.
-Providing all documentation required by the client in a timely and professional manner.
-Ensuring that prompt corrective action is taken in response to non-conformance reports.
-Ensuring that safety and quality system audits are conducted effectively and that corrective actions are implemented
