Experience Factors
- Minimum 5 years offshore experience.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience with responsibility for maintenance of electrical plant and equipment.
- Previous FPSO experience.

- Electrical apprenticeship or equivalent training scheme (or equivalent)
- Assessed as competent to fulfil the function of Responsible Person Electrical
- MODEC Competency Based Training - Maintaining Plant & Equipment - Electrical Systems - level 3 (or Senior Authorized Electrical Person certification (or equivalent)
- MODEC Competency Based Training - Emergency Response Training (or equivalent)
- MODEC Competency Based Training - Comp ?Ex?-?EX? units (or equivalent)
- Offshore SurvivallFirefighting with HUET
- RPE Compliance
- Permit to Work - Level 3
- Crane Maintenance
- First Aid
- HV I MV Distribution
- AMOS M & P
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas

Demonstrated Knowledge / Skills
- Thorough knowledge of the Electricity at Work Regulations and the IEE Wiring Regulations.
- Knowledge of the MODEC Maintenance Philosophy, AMOS maintenance system, Safety Critical Elements (SCEs), and the Combined Written Scheme for Examination and Verification of SCEs.
- Thorough knowledge of the PTW system and risk assessment procedures.
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, and of inspection and maintenance routines for electrical plant and equipment.
