We are looking for an outstanding Web Designer, able to create exceptional site designs, logos, site graphic elements, email designs, banner ads.
Proven work experience
- Vital: Outstanding web design portfolio.
- At least 1 years experience in Web design.
Usability skills
- Understanding of usability and user centered design concepts.
- Ability to understand and design for target audiences.
Design skills
- Good understanding of fonts and text layout.
- Solid Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks.
- Good knowledge of Macromedia Flash
Web skills
- Good understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS, DHTML. You will not have to use these, but your designs should take them into account.
- Hands-on experience with optimizing web pages for quick loading in browsers.
- Familiarity with the various web standards and limitations, browser differences, design constraints on the Web. and platform differences.
Communication skills
- able to communicate effectively concepts, ideas and constraints in English to clients.
- French is a plus
