For one of our clients, a chain of retail outlets based in Slovakia, who supplies second-hand clothes to the Central Europe, as well as to Africa, India and various countries, we are looking for an Unit Manager, responsible for opening a new warehouse and stores in Cluj – Napoca.
Responsible for the establishment and operation of chain stores that sell used clothing and shoes;
Leading the stores in accordance with the guidelines, instructions, budget and other business plan set by the manager;
Fulfill the targets in the budget and contribute to the making of the yearly budget;
Receive the weekly financial statements from all shops and prepare weekly and monthly statement for all shops and submit these to the Director;
Responsible for making budgets and reaching the targets for the chain of shops, and after the approval by the Director, implement these plans;
Identify new shops at the optimal locations, negotiate the optimal terms of renting agreements, ensure the supply of sufficient and the right goods to the shops and to ensure efficiency and productivity;
Ensure the optimization of turnover and profit for each trade in accordance with accepted standards and company values;
Develop training programmes for all staff at all levels and ensure that these are carried out according to plan;
Ensure that staff knows the target for the shops and that each employee knows his/her own targets and responsibilities;
Find solutions, proposals and take new initiatives for the benefit of the shops;
Promote a friendly, pleasant and busy atmosphere in which everybody thrives and delivers at their best and to their best abilities;
Prepare and presents weekly, monthly, quaterly and annually reports.
Excellent written and oral communication skills;
University degree; Specialization - Trade, Economy;
3 - 5 years experiences in Sales preferably retail sales,
Experience in leadership and motivating the sales team;
Fluency in English and advanced knowledge of MS Office;
Open – minded, responsible, having a real interest in clothes and fashion
