As a TELCO Junior Test Engineer, you will be part of the Telecom Business Unit which delivers value-added software services to mobile operators. You will have the opportunity to be involved in projects with high quality expectations and challenging deadlines, for mobile operators around the world. In order to cope with dynamic customer environments and high performance expectations, you will have to master various testing techniques and approaches, and have excellent technical background.
What will your responsibilities look like?
* Read, understand and offer feedback on requirements and specifications
* Create test cases based on requirements
* Help in the creation of test environments and release packages deployment
* Execute tests, reports and investigate issues
* Involved when necessary in performance testing
* Maintain communication and collaboration with local colleagues and from the client’s site
* Logical and analytical thinking
* Good work organization, self-motivation and strong project ownership
* Good knowledge of software testing terminology and SDLC in general
* Basic working knowledge of Databases, SQL and XML
* Knowledge of Unix/Solaris operating systems
* Knowledge of different scripting languages: Bash, Ruby, Perl

* Very good communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to a non-technical audience
* Fluency in English, German or French would be an advantage
