For one of our clients, global leader in providing rail solutions with a SSC based in Cluj, we are looking for an outstanding Team Leader General Ledger.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervising general accounting transactions processing;
• Being responsible for validating balance sheet accounts reconciliation;
• Ensuring inter- and intra-company transaction processing and clearing;
• Ensuring compliance with general accounting policies and procedures;
• Supervising general accounting and period end routine activities;
• Approving supervising and ensuring effective general ledger accounting;
• Ensuring achievement of service delivery requirements;
• Acting as a business partner for local parts and SSC counterparts;
• Initiating and driving continuous improvement activities;
• Performing mentoring and talent development activities for the team.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounting department of which at least 2 years in a coordination role is mandatory;
• Professional Education Level or University Degree in Accountancy or Business Administration.
• Familiar with International Accounting Standards (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), relevant European GAAP (generally Accepted Accounting Principles), company, legal and tax requirements;
• Language skills: good English level (mandatory);
• Experience in SAP or ERP environment is a plus;
• PC literate (MS-office tools – MS Excel is a must).
