Thanks to their results, our client is currently expanding their team in order to respond to the new needs of their partner and they are looking for a new talented and passionate IT specialist.
In this context, for an important e-commerce project, they would like to welcome a passionate SQL Developer, to join the team based in Cluj.
The context of the job:
You will have the opportunity to work with the worldwide leader of online dating.
You will work in a constantly growing team of passionate specialists on websites and applications used by more than 30 million users and touching a lot of different domains: social networking, search mechanisms, performance enhancement, user management, web traffic / conversion optimization, user behavior analysis.
You will be able to work with huge databases, handling terabytes of data.
You will work alongside Business Analysts and will be in touch with the latest enhancements performed on the platform.
You will also have the opportunity to work directly at the customers’ headquarters in Paris for a couple of weeks, at the beginning of the project.
What it takes to join the team:
- Good SQL/PL SQL skills;
- If you have also used a business intelligence platform such as Business Objects/ Informatica / Hyperion / Cognos / SAS / QlikView or Birt, it will be considered a plus;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Bachelor Degree in Informatics, Computers, Cybernetics, Mathematics, Automatics, etc;
- DB knowledge: Oracle;
- English is a must; French is considered a plus.
Non-technical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Enthusiasm to meet objectives;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills;
- Ability to work as part of a team.
