● responsible for validating an executing tests on various software products developed by the Client, ensuring that all release builds of products pass their respective test plans in entirety prior to their release
● responsible for assisting QA Lead in developing test cases and test procedures
● responsible for providing statistical product quality information
● maintain defect database and perform Regression testing when defects are fixed
● work closely with the QA Lead to ensure the product is compliant with application design
● document and execute test plans and report all non conformances to the QA Lead and other relevant project members
● maintain defect using HP Quality Center and perform Regression testing when defects are fixed
● testing process using the steps of software requirements specification
● problem report database maintenance
● technical testing working with an integrated team of developers, product managers and testing analysts
● unit testing, integration testing, performance testing, functional testing, client acceptance testing, user interface testing
● good capacity to understand the functionality of applications
● bug-tracking and conciliation about this process with the developing team
● making improvement proposals to achieve high performance and ergonomy of the software
● create and implement test plans and test scripts
● will help prioritize defects to be fixed using the understanding of the business requirements and the needs of the costumer
● University or Master degree
● at least 1 - 2 years of successful software testing experience including: Installation, Platform, Localization, Functionality, System, Regression and Usability testing
● knowledge of SQL queries
● prior experience with HP Quality Center is a Plus
● must have knowledge of testing methodology and QA process
● ability to execute test plans and maintain execution log for each test run
● ability to report and track defects using defect reporting and tracking tool
● experience with manual testing
● ISTQB Certification(s) is (are) a plus
● good communicational and interpersonal skills
● ability to pay strong attention to detail and quality
● demonstrate effective analytical and problem solving skills with attention to details
● demonstrate strong commitment to meeting release time frames
● traveling willingness
● strong verbal and written communication skills using English language
● knowledge of Hungarian is a plus
