The Senior WebUI Developer position is responsible for the design and implementation of customer facing web user interfaces using XHTML, Javascript, PHP to present information to the user. The successful candidate will have had significant previous involvement with hand coding, dynamic, data driven web user interfaces.
Fix layout (CSS/HTML) and JavaScript bugs in all required browsers
Work closely with the design team turning designs into a pixel perfect/cross browser UI.
Work closely with back-end developers, test engineers, project managers, and technical leads
Strictly follows design standards and provides solutions generic, maintainable
Highly self-motivated. We re looking for someone who is capable of setting his or her own priorities
Expectations for these roles:
Candidate should be self-sufficient and independent. S/he can estimate tasks accurately and deliver on their committements. These candidates will be part of the development teams.
Proven expertise in web 2.0 UI design and implementation
Experience with PHP
Good knowledge of XML, and Xpath
Excellent communication skills and attention to details
6-9 years hands-on programming experience
Excellent skills in HTML, CSS/Ajax
Strong experience in cross browser application and browser side caching
Working knowledge in JavaScript frameworks like Dojo, Rico and Scriptaculous is a plus
-Excellent working knowledge of Query
-Excellent working knowledge of YUI
-Excellent working knowledge of HTML/CSS
-Excellent working knowledge of Ajax
-Working knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts
-Java experience is a plus but not required; must demonstrate experience tying JavaScript layer to back-end logic
-Experience with code repositories like CVS and SubVersion
-Excellent communication skills
