• Conduct early life cycle validation and verification. Plan, estimate and schedule phase tests;
• Monitor progress, and document test failures and successes compared with pre-defined criteria, in accordance with agreed standards;
• Review test results and modify tests if necessary. Produce reports on system quality and metrics on test cases;
• Analyse test requirements, designs and produces re-usable test scripts and procedures (with expected results) to test new and amended software to be executed by self and other staff. Produce plans to test the effect of the new and changed software on existing systems;
• Agree the test conditions and test cases;
• Manage the sign off of the testing material;
• Defect management; manage defect resolution;
• Pre-test system set up - configuration requirements for testing;
• Managing daily calls/meetings during test period; communication back into project team regarding progress;
• Execution of the test plan;
• Agree and manage the test phase entry and exit criteria;
• You will provide constructive criticism; you will actively improve re-usability, contribute to lessons learnt for future releases and projects;
• Occasionally you can be involved in geographically distributed projects and you will have to work for short periods of time in other Endava Delivery Centers (i.e. in London-UK).
• Familiar with the software testing lifecycle;
• Experienced in functional testing;
• Experienced with requirement analysis, test data preparation and test case design;
• Familiar with at least one bug tracking tool;
• Knowledgeable of testing tools like: HP Quality Center, Bugzilla, Mantis, Test Link, Testopia Scrum Methodology and processes;
• ISTQB certifications – are a plus advanced levels such as (Test Manager / Test Analyst);
• Skilled with selenium and QTP Knowledge of the complete system development life cycle and test methodologies;
• Sound software test practices on large projects at all stages of product development;
• Excellent scripting language skills. Perl Knowledge would be a great plus;
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
• Familiarity with mobile/wireless industry;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills also in English language.
