Architect DB systems based on user requirements
Interface with internal and external clients to Manage expectations
Maintain consistent timelines and delivery times for similar issues
Diagnose system problems relating to Database system and operating system of Database
Tune Database to achieve optimum performance in access methods
Participate in Database architecture and schema review within Database group, along with the development staff and with other business groups
Establish priorities for multiple projects based on timeliness, importance and urgency.
Provide direct support of software development and maintenance teams, include database analysis, security support, design, software use, performance monitoring and tuning, and general technical expertise.
What abilities will you need?
Good Oracle versions 10g & 11g
Work experience in Aggregate Function, Query tuning
Good experience in SQL BASICS (Constraints, SQL commands & queries, Index, Date Functions)
Good in PL/SQL (Triggers, Cursors, Procedures/Functions/Packages, debugging skills, Bulk Collect, External Tables)
Good experience in SQL Loader, TOAD, SQL Developer.
Unix, Linux and Windows operating systems
