We are looking for a Senior Java Developer experienced with application architectures (service oriented, client/server, web, and database), for one of our clients, an international company activating in IT consultancy field.
As a Senior Java Developer you will perform the following activities:
- Review product specifications in order to give development estimates and product feedback.
- Innovative technical design and creative of technical specifications.
- Thorough, demonstrable unit testing.
- Code reviews, by and for peers.
- Software creation, adhering to and feeding back into departmental standards and guidelines.
- Technical documentation that shares knowledge effectively.
- the ideal candidate must NOT be from Cluj, but must be open to relocate or to travel to Cluj for the job. We offer support for relocation or traveling expenses.
Technical requirements:
- Frameworks: Spring/EJB, Hibernate, Struts 2.0
- Aspect oriented programming (AOP)
- Unit testing/mocking frameworks e.g. JUnit or Easy/JMock
- Build tools e.g. Maven2 or Ant
- Application servers: JBoss or Tomcat
- At least 3 years experience with Java enterprise applications
Desirable:
- Experience with REST, Web Services (SOAP)
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
- Exposure to non-Microsoft operating systems.
- Understanding of the full development cycle and some experience of Agile development methodologies and supporting tols e.g. JIRA, Confluence
