We are in search of full-time RPG programmers to join a long-term project, for one of our key clients in the USA market.
RPG is a high-level programming language (HLL) for business applications. Originally the initials stood for Report Program Generator, but currently it is referred to only as "RPG".
The positions we offer are for entry-levels, therefore a training in RPG concepts will be provided in the first 3 months.
The position involves responsibilities such as designing, developing, maintaining and documenting iSeries DB2, RPG-based programs.
There is a good potential to scale up the project and increase the team in the near future. Also, opportunity can arise for the project team, to work on-site, at the clients' headquarters in USA for a limited period of time.
Essential knowledge, skills and experience:
* Knowledge of AS/400, RPG, DB2, SQL.
* Ability in using AS / 400 utilities (PDM, SEU).
* Know-how in programing on CL.
* The candidates must have a BSc. Degree in Computers' Science or IT related field
