For EMERSON's Regulators Division in the Manufacturing Campus from Cluj Napoca we are looking for a dedicated professional to cover the role of QUALITY ENGINEER.
- Lead projects for improvement of the tests & inspections for the product through the production process:
a) Improve tests & inspections performance through the use of generally accepted quality improvement tools;
b) Identify methods to measure / inspect characteristics of the assigned product in different stages of production;
c) Develop measurements needed to monitor and ensure supplier performance improvement;
d) Conduct report briefings to upper-level management;
- Support strategic procurement projects and initiatives related to assigned products;
- New Product Development Team Member;
- Production Processes audits.
- Technical Degree (BSME, BS Metallurgical Engineering);
- 3-5 years experience in quality engineering with demonstrated analytical, communication, project management and decision-making skills;
- Expertise in casting, machining, metallurgy, rubber, plastic, springs, stampings, forgings are a plus;
- Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop and implement plans and solutions ensuring continuous improvement;
- Must be knowledgeable in ISO 9000 standards family;
- Must possess project management and auditing skills, be proficient in quality techniques;
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing is a plus;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills;
- English advanced.
